Cervids and Musk Ox (HOP)
The goals of The Health Surveillance Program for Cervids and Musk Ox (HOP) are to generate knowledge about the health status of Norwegian Cervids and Musk Ox to the benefit of wildlife management and veterinary authorities.
More specifically, the program conducts post-mortem examinations and monitors variation in incidence of diseases in moose, red deer, roe deer and reindeer by systematic surveys (screening) of samples.
The reports from the Surveillance Program for Cervids and Musk Ox are published in Norwegian.
